ECON 3890 - Latin American Economies

An examination of the economic problems and challenges of the Latin American region. Topics covered include structure and performance of the Latin American economies, the industrialization process, economic integration, capital formation, poverty, inequality, diversity and inclusion. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 2: Exploration and Discovery – Societies and Cultures Category. This course also meets the Diversity and Inclusion student learning outcome.
