PSCI 3610 - Modern Political Thought

A survey of political philosophy from the seventeenth century to the middle of the nineteenth. Emphasis upon the great individual philosophers of this period and the early development of the major ideological systems of the modern period: conservatism, liberalism and socialism. This course meets the student learning outcomes in the WMU Essential Studies Level 2—Exploration and Discovery, Societies and Cultures Course Category. This course also meets the Diversity and Inclusion student learning outcome. This course also meets the Diversity and Inclusion student learning outcome.
